This recipe serves 4 portions of scotch eggs
Healthy eating tip
- Make sure the fat is hot so that less fat will be absorbed into the food during cooking.
- Drain the cooked scotch eggs on kitchen paper.
- Hard boiled eggs 4
- sausage meat 300g
- flour 25g
- beaten egg 1
- breadcrumbs 50g
Step 1-Completely cover each egg with sausage meat
Step 2-Pass it through the flour, beaten egg and breadcrumbs. Shake off any surplus crumbs.
Step 3-Deep-fry to a golden brown in a moderately hot fat.
Step 4-Drain well, cut in halves and serve hot or cold.
