Hi everybody today I will be telling you how to make Chelsea buns. There's nothing better than a warm, Sticky bun fresh from the oven, These Chelsea buns are topped with a sugar syrup to make these buns even more tasty.



This recipe will make 8 buns

First you will need to know how to make bun dough

Ingredients you will need
Flour (strong    200gyeast                 5gmilk and water 60ml (aprox). medium egg      1butter or margarine  50g caster sugar       25gcurrants             25gsultanas             25gchopped peal     25g
Step 1-Sieve the flour into a bowl and warm.

Step 2-Cream the yeast in a basin with a little of the liquid

Step 3-Make a well in the centre of the flour

Step 4-Add the dispersed yeast, sprinkle with a little flour, cover with a cloth, leave in a warm place until the yeast ferments (bubbles).

Step 5-Add the beaten egg, butter or margarine, sugar and reminder of the liquid. Knead well to form a soft dough ,slack dough, knead until smooth and free from stickiness.

How to make potatoes Croquettes

Hi everyone in this post I will be telling you how to make potato Croquettes which are perfect as a side dish, or as a quite snack and you could also have croquettes for lunch with a salad.

First you will need to know how to make duchess potatoes. Ingredients you will need Floury potatoes   600g Egg yolks            1 Butter                 25g salt and pepper Step 1-Wash, peel and refresh the potatoes. Cut to an equal size.

Step 2-Cook in lightly salted water.

Step 3-Drain off the water, cover and return to a low heat to dry out the potatoes.

Step 4-Pass through a special potato ricer or mouli or if you don't have either of those you can use a medium sieve.

Step 5-Place the potatoes in a clean pan.

Step 6-Add the egg yolks and stir in vigorously with a kitchen spoon.

Step 7-Mix in the butter. correct the seasoning.

Step 8-Now use your duchess mixture mould it into cylinder shapes 5x2cm.

Step 9-Pass through flour, egg wash and breadcrumbs.Chill

Hi everyone in this blog post I will be telling you how to make Duchess potatoes they are a perfect compliment to a roast or a roast pork dinner. If you do not have a pastry bag, Instead just drop 12 mounds onto a baking sheet and swirl with a spoon to create your desired pattern.




Ingredients you will need
600g floury potatoes 1      Egg yolks 25g  Buttersalt and pepper
Step 1-Wash, peel and refresh the potatoes. Cut to an equal size.

How to make Ratatouille

Serves 4 portions

Ingredients you will need
200g  Baby marrow (courgette) 200g  Aubergines  200g  Tomatoes50ml  Oil50g    Onions. finely sliced 1        Clove of garlic, peeled and chopped50g    Red peppers, diced50g    Green peppers, diced Salt,   pepper1 tsp  Parsley, chopped
Step 1-Trim off both ends of the marrow and aubergine.

Step 2-Remove the skin using a peeler.

Step 3-Cut into 3 mm slices.

Step 4-Concasse the tomatoes (peel, remove seeds, roughly chop).

Step 5-Place the oil in a thick-bottomed pan and add the onions.

Step 6-Cover with a lid and allow to cook gently for 5-7 minutes without colour.

Step 7-Add the garlic, marrow and aubergine slices, and peppers.

Step 8-Season lightly with salt and mil pepper.

Step 9-Allow to cook gently for 4-5 minutes, toss occasionally and keep covered.

Step 10-Add the tomato and continue cooking for 20-30 minutes or until tender.

Ingredients you will need
8 chicken thighs (with the bone is best-can use a mixture of thighs and drumsticks)3 tablespoons olive oil1 large onion-finely chopped2 garlic cloves-crushed 1 stick celery-finely chopped130g pancetta or streaky bacon-finely chopped 125g button mushrooms-sliced (chestnut mushrooms are good to use) 100ml dry white wine 400g tinned chopped tomatoes seasoned plain flour 1/4 teaspoon brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 1 rosemary sprig 1 bay leaf
Step 1-Heat half the oil in a sauté pan. Add the onion, garlic, and celery.

Top Tips
Put the oven-proof dish on a baking tray so if anything bubbles over, it will land on the tray, not the oven. Be creative and experiment with other fruits, such as pears, blackberries, apricots, raspberries, peaches, nectarines or plums. If you cant get fresh fruit, you can use canned fruit.
Ingredients you will need
50g butter or margarine 100g plain flour 50g oats 25g sugar 2 eating apples 50g sultanas
Step 1-Preheat the oven to 190oC or gas mark 5.

Step 2- Rub the butter or margarine into the flour until it looks like breadcrumbs.

Step 3- Stir in the oats and sugar and make sure they're well mixed in.

Step 4-Cut the apples into quarters and remove the core, Slice thinly.

Step 5-Arrange the apple slices in the oven-proof dish, and then add the sultanas.

Step 6-Sprinkle the crumble topping over the apple slices.

Step 7-Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the apple is soft and the crumble is golden.

How to make a lemon drizzle cake

Hi everyone today ill be telling you how to make a lemon drizzle cake



Ingredients you will need

125g unsalted butter-softened225g caster sugar 4 eggs-beaten finely grated zest of 1 lemon 225g self-raising flour-sieved
For the drizzle topping
juice of 1 1/2 lemons 85g caster sugar

Step 1-Preheat oven to 160C

Step 2-Cream together the butter and sugar until pale and light in colour.

Step 3-Gradually beat in the egg, beating thoroughly each time.

Step 4-Add the flour and lemon zest and fold in until the mixture is combined.

Step 5-Spoon into prepared tin and level the top.

Step 6-Bake for 45-50 minutes, until a thin skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.

Step 7-Leave in the tin to cool.

Step 8-Mix together the juice of lemon and sugar for the topping.

Step 9-Lightly prick the warm cake with a skewer and pour over the drizzle topping.

Step 10-Leave in the tin until completely cool.
